Royaltuf 485 |
Maleic anhydride (< 2%) modified EPDM |
Royaltuf 485 is a maleic anhydride grafted EPDM recommended for toughening of nylon 6, nylon 66 and other polyamides. It based on a semicrystalline EPDM and features a free-flowing pellet form. The product provides excellent mechanical properties and color in nylon blends. Best results are obtained with high-shear compounding such as that available in twin-screw extruders. Royaltuf 485 is co-curable with EPDM and can improve dispersion and coupling to polar fillers in EPDM compounds
