CASAMID 1416 |

CASAMID 1416 is a gloss reducing curing agent developed for use in black & dark shade epoxy and hybrid powder coatings. CASAMID 1416 is used in the production of gloss reduced, epoxy hybrid powder coatings. Epoxy coatings of gloss levels ranging from 5 to 15% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15% to 60% (or greater) may easily be formulated by the use of CASAMID 1416. For most effective results, hybrid powder coatings should not contain more than 5% titanium dioxide. Coatings produced with CASAMID 1416 are characterised by good flow and surface smoothness. Minimum cure schedule recommended is 10 minutes @ 180¨¬C (metal temperature). See formulation guidelines for further details. |
