Flame Retardant Additive for Polyamides AMGARD CPC 452 flame retardant is a red phosphorous-based additive designed for use in nylon resins. It does not contain halogens or require a synergist to achieve maximum flame retardant performance. For ease of use, AMGARD CPC 452 is offered as a masterbatch to enhance formulating and compounding. Suggested Uses: Injection Molding Resins, Extrusion Resins, Glass-Filled Resins, Electrical Applications Performance Benefits of AMGARD CPC 452: Mimimum loss of physical properties of compounded product Does not require synergist or co-additive to achieve maximum flame retardant performance. Non-blooming. Excellent thermal stability. Low loading required to achieve normal performance requirements (UL-94). Minimal impact on physical properties of base polymer. Chemical inertness. Hydrolytically stable. |
