EPALLOY 8220 is a very low viscosity epoxidized Bisphenol F resin. It provides low hydrolyzable chloride content, a high degree of reactivity and outastanding chemical resis-tance. 8220 contains no diluent and in non-crystallizing and compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents. EPALLOY 8220 is excellent for use in 100% solids coatings and trowelable flooring where room temperature cure and chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents are required. Its exceptionally low viscosity makes 8220 the proferred material for blending with Bisphenol A resins to eliminate crystallization. Blends of EPALLOY 8220 with standard Bisphenol A based resins will exhibit superior properties compared to conventionally diluted res-ins. * APPLICATIONS : - High Temperature Encapsulants/Adhesives - Conductive Adhesives - Prepregs and Composites - Chemical Resistant Coatings - Viscosity Modifier for Epoxy Novolacs and Bis A Resins - Primary Flooring Resin for High Chemical R Resistance |
