EPALLOY 8240E is a very low viscosity epoxy phenol novolac resin. 8240E has a very low hydrolyzable chloride content and a high degree of reactivity. It is noncrystallizing and compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents. Formulations based on EPALLOY 8240E exhibit outstanding chemical resistance. 8240E's exceptionally low hydrolyzable chlorides make it the preferred material for electronic applications where higher temperature resistance is also required.
