EPALLOY 7190J82 is a low odor, low viscosity resin blend of Bisphenol A epoxy and the glycidyl ether of C12-14 alcohol. Unlike aromatic modified resins, 7190J82 exhibits a lower modulus and is an excellent choice where brittleness is a problem. It is compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents, but will tend to cure slower than undiluted resin.
EPALLOY 7190J82 is excellent for 100% solids floor coating sand trowelable floorings requiring room temperature cure. Unlike BGE modified resins, EPALLOY 7190J82 will not produce objectionable odors and is much easier and safer to handle. It is especially well suited for food processing plants and other areas where 100% solids epoxy coatings are required and FDA approval is needed.
