RK-8-4 is an adduct of a solid diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A and a liquid rubber. The product is a solid resin, which imparts toughness and a degree of flexibility to epoxy formulations. The formulator can expect improvements in impact resistance, peel and tensile shear strengths and low temperature properties with the incorporation of RK-8-4.
