PAT-2721/R is a liquid external release concentrate.
It is based on a water-soluble fluorocarbonpolymer,especially suited for use with hot forming of elastomers.
Applied on the hot mould, upon evaporation of the water, it forms a stable release film which adheres to the mould.
Among its numberous advantages are: Improved release of product from hot mould,Increased intervals between mould cleaning,Improved flow of elastomer,Can be used at temperatures up to 260'C
Ideally suited for silicone rubbers,ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymers and fluorosilicone rubbers.
Excellent result are also obtained with epichlorohydrin elastomers,nitrile rubbers,urethane elastomers,chlorsulfonated polyethylene,fluorinated rubber and EPDM. |
