BW-22 Boiler Treatment is a supplemental denatured catalyzed dry sulfite.
This product is USDA G6 approved.
BW-22 reacts with the oxygen found in feedwater to form a chemical compound, thus tying up free oxygen.
By deactivating free oxygen, BW-22 prevents the localized oxygen-induced corrosion known as oxygen pitting.
BW-22 is catalyzed to speed the reaction rate with oxygen and thus improve the overall system protection.
