STEV-LEV NRA improves the levelness of acid dyes on nylon and wool by retarding the dye strike rate throughout the dyeing cycle.
STEV-LEV NRA fills this available dyesites and is slowly replaced by the dyestuffs as temperature is increased.
The anionic method of acid dye retardation reduces "speckyness" in wool dyeing and provides superior coverage of yarn-induced barre in nylon knit goods.
Carpet barre due to differential dyeability of yarn responds exceptionally well to anionic leveling using STEV-LEV NRA. |
