STEV-TEX NEUTROX is a unique new product, which quickly and completely neutralizes preparation and dyebath alkali to a free rinsing form.
The reducing effect of STEV-TEX NEUTROX eliminates the oxidation potential from bleaching agents such as hypochlorite and peroxide which are known to be causes of dye shading and unlevel application.
In addition, unlike acetic acid, STEV-TEX NEUTROX does not form residual salts, which tend to act as a "buffer" and interfere with resin and softener finishing efficiency.
STEV-TEX NEUTROX provides substantial benefits also in term of shipping and storage, safety, freedom from corrosion, and economics over both glacial and 56% acetic acid.
Further advantages over acetic acid are that STEV-TEX NEUTROX has no heat of dilution, is phosphate-free, contains no volatile organic compounds (VOC), and is odor-free.
STEV-TEX NEUTROX does not contain any chemicals currently on the EPA Extremely Hazardous Substance List or on the Toxic Chemical List, SARA Title sections 302 and 313.
It is more readily biodegradable and has a lower COD than glacial acid, decomposition into products, which have a decreased tendency to lower the pH of effluent streams. |
