Uvacure 1532 |
|
Modified Cycloaliphatic Epoxide Resins Low viscosity epoxide resins undergo rapid cationic polymerization when exposed to UV light in the presence of a photoinitiator that generates a cationic catalyst. Uvacure 1532 is a mixture of Uvacure 1500 with an aliphatic polyol to an epoxy/hydroxy ratio (EHR) of 2 (#epoxide equivalents/#hydroxyl equivalents) and a weight per hydroxyl of 555. This yields a cationic UV cured polymer with excellent flexibility and good toughness. Additional Uvacure 1500 can be added to Uvacure 1532 to provide a range of EHR and cured film properties. |
