JLS-MC |
|
JLS-MC is a non-halogenated nitrogen flame retardant, it is composed with melamine andcyanurate which is similar to Akzol Nobeand and Fyral MC. When incorporated into polyamide, it shows high processing stability and no migration. JLS-MC differs in its mode of action from halogenated flame retardants ill the fire. On the one hand JLS-MC is not caustic to equipment and mould in the processing on the other hand when the polyamide teams on exposure to flame, the carbon foam layer so formed protects the polymer through its heat-insulating effect to reduce further oxygen access. By addition JLS-MC, the smoke density and toxic smoke gases reduce. At the same time there are no thrill halogen hydride gases to produce. JLS-MC may be mostly used in a series of polyamide, glass fiber modified olyamide, polyurethane foam and polyester, especially polyamide, which is suitable for processing of sorts, for example extrusion and injection moulding. Moreover the polyamide by addition JLS-MC can be gone on at wheel to recycle. |
