This product can be used in concentrations as high as 20% with Saccharin as a Class I brightener. The material is first dissolved in a 10% sodium hydroxide solution. After dissolving the final pH of the solution should be adjusted between 4.5 to 5 before usage.
After the powder is fully dissolved the solution should be allowed to stand for two to four hours, decanted and filtered. The pH should be maintained at 4.5 to 5 in the formulation to ensure the material remains in solution.
