TC-1214 is a blend of cyclopentasiloxane and high molecular weight dimethicone. The cyclopentasiloxane acts as an emollientand giving a dry, non-greasy feel. The high molecular weight dimethicone gives a soft, silky feel when applied to the skin.

Formulating Guidelines
1. Add 1-3% by weight.
2. TC-1214 can be incorporated directly into the oil phase of the formulation. If temperatures above 70¡É are being used to melt the oil phase, TC-1214 should be added slowly after the formation of the emulsion, and below 60¡É, using a high shear mixer.
3. Non-emulsion products, it is advisable to add cosmetic ingredients to the silicone and not vice verse as usually ultra high molecular weight dimethiconol is incompatible with other cosmetic ingredients.

Storage & Handling
1. Keep in cool, Dry, Ventilation and Lightless Place, The temperature is below 40¡ÆC,
2. Storage time is 2 years.
3. Pile height is less than 3 pails.
