Liquid product is brown or umber transparent body, and solid product is chocolate brown or umber powder or crystal grain. Readily soluble in water and used for treatment of drinking water, industrial water and wastewater, and domestic sewage.
Its coagulating effect behave as reduction of remaining turbidity and colority, quick shaping of flocculating body, good adsorbability, superiors filter dehydration performance of mud residue. For high turbidity water and low temperature and low turbidity water disposal, its treatment effect is better than that of alum, polyaluminium chloride, poly ferric sulfate and ferric chloride, among which, its treatment effect to low temperature and low turbidity water, may be free from alkali auxiliary or other coagulating aid, is especially obvious, which shows distinguished effect compared with other coagulant.
